Shanay was born in Western Australia, a small town south of Perth. She is now living in Berlin, Germany where she moved from New York to further pursue her interests in childbirth and newborn education.

Mother of three, Her first birth experience was a home-birth in the water with the presence of a midwife and doula Domino. The second was an unplanned hospital birth, a 4.2 kg baby whale, Posterior and born in her water sac and third was born on the couch at home in front of Netflix fireplace, Never knowing birth could be like this, birth was exactly how she envisioned it, her journey and no one else's. Also learning that each birthing experience is unique. Being a mother of three children and having had them in a foreign country, she understands the importance of new families needs. Supporting over 100 + births and over 200 families postpartum

Shanay learned how liberating birth can be with the right atmosphere which lead her to pursuit her studies. Birthing from within can be accessed by all with the right support. Shanay offers reassurance, calmness, non judgement, evidence based birth and postpartum guidance and support
